This person will also be responsible for monitoring and driving resolution of programming and diagnostic issues in customer vehicles.

What You’ll Do:

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture standards and vehicle serial data communications/networks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to function autonomously with limited direction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively multi-functionally and cross-culturally.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of vehicle systems, working technical knowledge with prior automotive service or engineering experience, and understanding vehicle data communication protocols used in service programming
  • Knowledge of GM business processes, systems, and tools includes Engineering Change Management (ECM), Soft Part Release (SPR), Problem Resolution and Tracking System (PRTS), GSPAS, Vehicle Control Application Management (VCAM), Development Programming System (DPS), and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with GM’s Service Programming System (TLC/SPS2), and Global Diagnostics Tool (GDS 2) and their upstream authoring systems
