Sample Analyst

Location: Hackettstown, NJ (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (Through End of Year, with Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented Sample Analyst to join a leading global consumer products company. In this role, you'll support product quality operations by receiving, tracking, inspecting, and documenting consumer product samples while maintaining accurate records and communicating with consumers regarding product-related concerns.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in sample handling, quality assurance, operations, inventory, logistics, customer service, or data entry .

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, inspect, and process product samples for quality evaluation.
• Log and maintain accurate sample information in internal databases.
• Store, organize, and track physical product samples.
• Perform basic product inspections and sample dissection when required.
• Follow up with consumers regarding product complaints and document findings.
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support quality and consumer care initiatives.
• Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in operations, quality support, sample handling, inventory, customer service, or business operations.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Comfortable handling and inspecting returned consumer food products.
