About the Role

Wenger Construction is looking for a motivated Commercial Siding Installer to join our Southern Wisconsin team.

This position is ideal for someone with at least 1–2 years of construction experience who is looking to grow their career in commercial siding. Whether you have previous siding experience or a strong construction background, we'll provide the opportunity to continue developing your skills alongside an experienced team.

As a Commercial Siding Installer, you'll work on a variety of commercial projects throughout Southern Wisconsin while helping deliver the high-quality workmanship our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commercial siding installations while maintaining Wenger's quality and safety standards.
• Install a variety of exterior cladding systems, including:
  • James Hardie (panel and lap siding)
  • Nichiha
  • Metal siding (single skin)
  • Composite Wall Panels (ACM)
  • Longboard
  • Knotwood
• Assist with the installation of:
  • Rain screen systems
  • Wall insulation systems
  • Custom sheet metal (flashings, trims, roof edge metal, copings)
  • Standing seam metal roofing
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and construction equipment.
• Read and follow project plans and installation specifications.
• Work collaboratively with your crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Follow all OSHA and Wenger Construction safety policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of construction experience required.
• Previous siding installation experience is preferred but not required .
• Commercial construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites throughout Southern Wisconsin .

Other Requirements

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
